AFM K9 was founded in 2021 by Professional Handler, Master Trainer, and Canine Behavioral Specialist, Cody Louque. Cody started his career heavily focused in the world of Military and Police Working Dogs. His love for dogs originated from his childhood hunting dogs, and the legendary pet dogs that he grew up with in his home. Cody Louque is a professional handler and trainer, certified in the training of all dog breeds, certified in all training specialties, holds a degree in Animal Behavior, and is also an Evaluator for the American Kennel Club (AKC). Cody and his wife, Dr. Kate (DVM), live a life that is dedicated to the physical and cognitive health of dogs. Together, they have created more than just a dog training business. Currently, AFM K9 is the Northshore's only Board and Train Canine Retreat, and the largest training facility with over 50 acres. AFM is also the first to offer luxury boarding on the Northshore. Our mission is to raise the standard with the highest quality of canine training and customer service.
